Addison’s Room (Part 2)

This weekend my mom and Aunt Patty came to Lubbock to help decorate Addison’s room. The weekend was a whirlwind and we had such a good time together! We began Friday with nothing but a crib and dresser. By late Sunday night, the room had been transformed!

Addison's resser/changing table.  We love the lanterns above the dresser!
The mirrors are the perfect height for Addison to look at herself in the mirror while being changed!

Addison and Erwin Update

Yesterday we got to see our little Addison for the last time before we get to meet her in person! I am now 30 weeks - less than 2 ½ months to go! It’s hard to believe how fast the time has flown! Addison is now measuring 15 inches and weighing 3 pounds 11 ounces. Although she is measuring close to her birth length, she will continue to gain up to a half a pound per week until she is born. We are told that she measures healthy and is developing as expected.

We have been busy recently with baby planning and pre-baby traveling. We have really taken advantage this year of our close proximity to the mountains in New Mexico. In January, we joined our Sunday school friends the Oliviers and Kimbroughs in Ruidoso for a little skiing, gambling, and relaxation. Clay recently went skiing in Angel Fire with our good friends Tyler Keeling, Seth Soloman, and Clay Kimbrough while I went to Amarillo for a little girl time with my good friend (and Seth’s wife) Lindsey. This past weekend we met our Fort Worth friends Wes Cooper and Paige Hamilton in Red River for a little more time on the mountain. Although my mountain activities have been strictly grounded, I have enjoyed the time away with Clay and catching up with friends.

Our lives won’t be slowing down over the next month! We will be hard at work with nursery decorating, showers, and Clay’s first half-marathon in Dallas. Stay tuned!
