7 Month Update

One thing is for certain…we have a very happy baby!  Addison, now 7 months old, weighs over 15 pounds.  She is a petite girl with lots of personality!

Addison loves to explore.  She spends lots of time on the floor and is able, with some serious efforts, to get around independently.  She rolls or scoots (imagine a snail) and will be ready to crawl before we know it! 
Addison loves to eat!  We have now added peas, carrots, butternut squash, sweet potatoes, bananas, and apple sauce.  While we were in South Carolina, my mom made homemade baby food for the first time.  Her batches were so successful that I have continued to make Addison’s food.  It has been so easy and rewarding (and economical)! 
This month we had fun trick or treating with our little lady(bug) for her first Halloween. 
This month we also learned that our friends, and Addison’s god parents, Ty and Ashley are having a girl! Addison was so excited to see the pink balloons come out of their reveal box.  Her face lit up and she could not stop cooing...I think she's excited for her new favorite friend!   I know these little girls will be inseparable!   We could not be more thrilled for our friends!

Addison was also baptized this month.  It was wonderful to have our families in to celebrate with us as we dedicated our baby to the Lord.  A separate blog post is in the working.
Our verse this month was read at Wes and Paige's wedding, Ephesians 3:14-19, "14 For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God."
